There comes a time and place in which you need to be prepared for everything when serving another people group.  The video attached proves that very thing.  Our team went to serve a larger group of students ranging from 2-18 years old.  The nights we experienced serving these incredible young people there were upwards of 50-80 in attendance all smushed into a small one car garage size room.  

This particular night myself and Aaron (our Australian friend and family) were helping lead worship that night.  On this night Aaron and I were ready to sing along when all of a sudden the worship leader said "Ture is going to lead us in a dance."  Ture is going to do whar?!  The video shows my incredible dance moves as we sang a worship song.  Never in a day would I have thought I would be involved in, much less, leading a worshipful dance moment.  

2 weeks ago my family and I were blessed to enjoy the company of friends and family.  This experience took us to Iowa - the land of Corn and beauty only understood by those from there.  We spent time laughing, reminiscing, riding in tractors, seeing and smelling the aroma of pigs, eating, eating more, and sharing the vision God has laid upon our lives.  We got to share this vision of obedience with two churches (Vining and Clutier).  See "Iowa Snapshot"  to get a glimpse of our journey with God.  

Thank you Vining and Clutier for giving us the chance to share a story God is unraveling and the ripple effect He is creating.

Synopsis:

This message was presented at Faithway Baptist Church in Hampshire, IL on 3/9/14.  

The purpose of this time at Faithway was to cast the vision of obedience laid upon our heart by God for missions.  It is also to share a key lesson learned as we wrestled in our decision to enter the mission field.  That lesson begins with answering the question "Is God Worth It?"  For us He is!  Our heart is to go where God wants us to go, and do what He wants us to do.   If God is worth it, regardless of how illogical or crazy, if it clear to you and supported by trusted men and women of God as they intercede on your behalf,  you must go as Joshua and the Israelites did in the Promise Land - strong and courageous.
